Modes and Loot

Hyper and Inverse

Hyper is a stage’s own hard mode, and the mix changes per map. Gold is the one constant, +50% almost everywhere it exists, dropping to +25% on Whiteout and The Coop. Most maps add +10% luck on top and push the speed multiplier, for you and the enemies both, up to 1.9 or 2.0. Il Molise and Moongolow are the mean ones, loading enemies with +60% health in exchange for only a +20% luck bonus. Inverse is the flat one: Gracia’s Mirror, hidden in Eudaimonia M., turns on gold doubled, enemy health doubled, luck +20%, then piles on another 5% enemy health and 0.5% enemy speed for every minute you survive.

Coffins and Relics

A relic is buried somewhere on 19 of the 24 maps, which is the reason to reopen a stage you already cleared. Inlaid Library has the Grim Grimoire. Dairy Plant hides two, the Milky Way Map and Ars Gouda, and Gallo Tower hides the Randomazzo that turns Arcanas on in the first place. Collect the standard set and Eudaimonia M. opens, home to Gracia’s Mirror and the Seventh Trumpet. The five numbered stages each bury a coffin too: Pugnala Provola, Giovanna Grana, Poppea Pecorina, Concetta Caciotta, Zi’Assunta Belpaese, in stage order. Grab Move Speed before hunting for one, since coffins tend to sit far from wherever the run drags you.

Stage 4 · Normal

An edifice of science and sorcery where horror was made manifest in the name of progress. Its many artifacts and experiments may lead us to what we seek. The clock runs to 30:00, and 50 enemies are already on screen when you land.

Normal and Inverse are multipliers on the stat. The Hyper column is what Hyper adds on top, which is how the game states it. Hyper stays locked until you meet this map's requirement. Inverse needs Gracia's Mirror out of Eudaimonia M.
