Overview

Slay the Spire 2 launched Early Access with five playable characters. The Ironclad, the Silent, and the Defect return from the original game; the Regent and the Necrobinder are new to the sequel. Only the Ironclad and Silent start unlocked: finish a run with the Silent and the Regent opens up, finish one with the Regent and the Necrobinder unlocks, finish one with the Necrobinder and the Defect is yours. Every character brings a different HP total, starting gold, base Energy, a signature starting deck, and a class relic that shapes its early strategy. The Defect is the only one with Orb slots, all three lifted straight from the original game. Pick based on how you like to build, some classes want you reacting to enemy intents, others want you setting up a kill from turn one.
