Where each of 39 pickups drops, and the odds behind it
Data from build 25016043, updated
Break a candelabra and the game rolls one item off a 13-entry table. Three times in five you get a plain Gold Coin worth 1 gold, no more. Floor Chicken is next at 14.5%, then a Coin Bag at 12.1%, and the good stuff sits in the long tail: Rosary at 1.2%, Little Clover at 0.61%, Gold Finger at a miserable 0.02%. Six of the good ones need a character level too, so Orologion stays out of the pool before level 4 and Gilded Clover before 30.
Luck reaches seven of the thirteen drops here: Floor Chicken, Rich Coin Bag, Rosary, Orologion, Vacuum, Nduja Fritta and Sorbetto. Their tips all carry the same line in the game’s files, “Drop rate affected by Luck.” Gold Coin and Coin Bag ignore it, so stacking Luck never buries you in loose change, it tilts the table toward the rarer drops instead. Seal ten from the Collection screen and they stop appearing entirely; the three coin drops are the only ones you can’t turn off.
Most of what the game files under pickups never touches the floor. Once every weapon and passive slot is full, the level-up screen offers a 25 gold Big Coin Bag or a 30 HP Floor Chicken instead, with an “Always” option beside each one that keeps picking it for the rest of the run: that’s the [Always] tag on those two entries. The Merchant charges 100 gold for Skip, 500 for Banish, 1,000 for Reroll and 20,000 for Pick a Card, paid from the gold in your pocket rather than your bank. Enemy drops, boss chests and a handful of stage props fill out the rest.
